The Tangent Line: Introduction and Young Days

Life keeps flinging surprises at Arden. As he reminisce his past life, from his childhood to the present, he suddenly stopped and looked around him. Looking at his achievements, his money, his friends’ pictures, seems like a dream come true. “It’s good to look at your past and study it for awhile. And when there is something that you remembered, your tears are slowly falling down”, he shared.

Having just moved to Laguna from Pangasinan when he was 2 years old, Arden and his parents Dennis and Arsenia, have been busy, from searching for a job, a comfy home, everything that is something to do with the survival. “If I’m just in their situation as parents, syempre mahirap makahanap ng work, a place where you could stay, pati food. Hindi pa ako sure kung scarce na ang food that time kahit sagana ako sa happy meal ng McDonald’s”, said with a chuckle.

As life goes on, Arden continues to face his young days with a smile and ends it with a kiss on a cheek. He then also shared to his site his life then and now, his struggles, his strengths and weaknesses, and how made his “tangent” life changed his nature.

Young Days

Arden started his formal schooling at the age of 5 at the Regina Coeli School at Sta. Rosa. For him, this is his first day; he can’t wait to start it. Also he can’t wait to know more about his new friends.

He added, “Nung Kindergarten pa ako, ang dami ko kaagad naranasan as a student – waking up for school early, being brought to school, sleeping while doing the flag ceremony, daily exercise, assignments, sunduin ako ni mama, walk home then rest. Feeling ko I’m working at the same time making new friends, chatting with them at minsan mapagalitan ako ng teacher dahil sa kaingayan.”
