A World of Fire and Ice

Planet Earth has hot and cold regions. Equatorial part is the hottest part and and the polar ice caps are the coldest ones. But this planet, has also parts where hot and cold was. The front side is the hottest, like living furnice. But, the back side is so cold like there’s an endless winter. This next planet hits the sixth top spot.

6. A world of fire and ice
Upsilon Andromeda b is tidally locked to its sun like the Moon is to Earth, so one side of the planet is always facing its star. This setup creates one of the largest temperature differences astronomers have ever seen on an exoplanet. One side of the planet is always hot as lava, while the other is chilled possibly below freezing.
